Let’s Make It Personal

One of the things I love most about events like this is getting to actually talk with readers—answer your questions, hear your thoughts, and give real hugs (if you're into that). It's not about selling books; it's about sharing stories and building something real.

So bring your friends, bring your momma, bring the whole neighborhood if you want—we’ll be waiting with open arms and open books.

– Dayna 💛

Dayna Gonzales grew up in central New York, where the cows outnumbered the people, and later moved to South Texas, where the trend continued. Inspired by her Native, Italian, Scottish, and Irish heritage, Dayna has always been driven by a deep sense of purpose and a love for storytelling.

Her journey has been marked by resilience and a commitment to helping others. After enduring domestic violence and financial hardship, she found solace and support from her family, which allowed her to thrive as a single mother in late 2017. Her determination led her to become an active board member of a family crisis center, where she played a key role in fundraising for a full-service shelter.

In 2019, Dayna made headlines as a living liver donor in a successful liver swap that saved two lives and forged lasting connections. Her heart and dedication to service are evident in all she does.
